I always feel like one can accomplish more in the dead of night. I have finished organizing my 2012 tasks, and one of the priorities is to complete my blog from last September's Mototaxi Junket in Peru. I will be re-posting all of them here, and writing the final one in short order.

Less than one month into the New Year, and we are celebrating 4 new World Records which the Maxximus LNG 2000 took last week in Georgia. The official releases will be coming out soon. What an accomplishment, World Record runs from an LNG powered street legal supercar!

Hurricane Irene spared me her misery. While shutting down the Tri-State airports for 36 hours, I encountered no glitches departing from Newark on Tuesday. Met Travis in Houston and continued on to Lima. As luck would have have it, we met Matthew from the the Pisco Sour Project on the flight down, and his partner Peter showed up while we were still at the airport.

Stephanie Anderson is a contestant on the Biggest Loser 9, which airs Tuesday nights on NBC. I am a fan of the show as I am on a weight loss journey myself. On January 2, 2010 I proclaimed to the world that I would lose 87 pounds and reach 199lbs. To date I am down 37lbs and have been happy with the progress. I broke the 250lb mark this weekend which was a major psychological milestone for me. So a good friend, PKP brother, and co-worker of mine knows Stephanie from college (San Diego State University).

Our company hosts a Poker Tournament for the Oil & Gas Community this week at the Wynn Casino & Resort. Today features a 1:30 Shotgun start as we rented out the golf course for the afternoon. The 11th hole features a par 3 that if a hole in one is made, the lucky golfer will walk away with $99,000.00. I am up for the challenge!

Tomorrow is the Poker tournament with a field of 120 executives. First place bring home $50,000.00. The $1,000.00 buy-in will be a great ROI for someone. In last year's tourney I came in 14th from a field of 90. I am ready for the event!

Jetlag has kicked in as I find myself piecing together in the middle of the night a plan to drive across the United States in 6 days. I am in the process of re-locating to San Diego from Dubai, UAE. I could just put my car, a rarely used 2002 Audi A4, on a truck and have it shipped out, following it a week later. I see absolutely no joy in that. This cross country jaunt is somewhat of a "cleansing" of the past four years construction dust ridden metropolis that Dubai is growing into. It is time to be reintroduced to the land of the free!

Coming in 32 on the Finish line day, Lucknow Be 2 Ladies crossed the finish line with Ragged Glory. There were quite a few times that Jason and Jeff's auto caused serious doubt into if we would actually finish or not. Stay tuned for a run down of everything that happened to us.

One of the problems of emerging yourself in this adventure is that life has a funny way of throwing a wrench into the best intentions. We had planned on bringing a blog on a fairly regular basis. Alas, that has not been the case. While the ladies of the team have been running smoothly, Jay and I's Rickshaw has encountered nightmare after nightmare putting us into some pretty wacky situations that I NEVER thought I would be in. I will write about them, but for the time check out or new "sister" team Ragged Glory.

2200 kilometers to Pondicherry: This was our first full day in India and we were very excited! Excited that we had finally arrived in a place where Rickshaw mechanics were never more than 6 headbobbles and 20 rupees away. I have to hand it to the Taj, not only did they care for our Rickshaws, when it started raining cats and dogs in the middle of the night, the MOVED them under the awning of the entrance so as to keep them dry. OE and I, minus a windshield for the past day and a half, were very grateful. As 8am came upon us, we wasted no time in assigning tasks.
