About our Races

Stars, Bars, and Scars

In September of 2011 I'll be taking my third trip with The Adventurists. This one will nearly three weeks driving across Peru.

My friend Travis and I are taking on Peru in what the locals call a "sofa on a motorbike." We will be driving thousands of miles, through the Andes, the Amazon, the Great Salt Flats, all the while kicking ass and taking names as we cross the finish line well before any other team. The mototaxi will have GPS on it so you can track us live as we carve up the landscape!

We risk our lives in the name of charity and, well, because it just feels soooo goood! Our official website is...

Lucknow Be 2 Ladies (2009)

Lucknow Be 2 Ladies consists of two autorickshaws with four members, Helen Ahern, Pippa Daniels, Jason Lewis, and Jeff McMahan.

From the isolated city of Shillong in the NE corner of India, the team will be navigating hostile enviornments enroute to the final destination. From the base of the Himalayas to drink some Darjeeling tea to jungles, flatlands, rivers, and various unexpected encounters, we will sacrifice all in a bid to wind up on the beaches of SW Goa April 25th.

We are risking life and limb for the three fabulous charities, please choose one and donate an amount you feel our journey of 5,000km (New York to Los Angeles and then some)is worth.

Every Dollar, Euro, and Pound is worth 100 fold to these...

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (2008)

The Rickshaw Run folks installed a cd player, Roof rack, and extra running lights on the autorickshaws prior to the team's arrival. WWCD team then painted the autorichsaws, added a 50 watt PA system and mounted dual speakers. On Race day, all the autorickshaws were moved to the center of Kathmandu where the Kings used to be annointed. First day run ended in Botwal, Nepal, at the Hotel Siddhartha...
